Capelli Sport to Become the Official Apparel and Equipment Supplier for Colorado United
Capelli Sport is proud to announce a new, longterm partnership with Colorado United. This agreement will make Capelli Sport the official and exclusive supplier of on-field apparel for Colorado United’s approximately 5,000 players from U4 through U19. This includes players in the Recreation and Rec+ programs, players who play at the Copa, Competitive, and Academy level, and players who compete in the Elite Academy League (EA) and Development Player League (DPL). In addition to uniforms, Capelli Sport will also supply training apparel, clothing for select coaches and staff, fan merchandise, and soccer equipment. This longterm partnership begins in November of 2023, and runs for 14 years, through May of 2023.
Founded in 1960, Littleton, CO–based Colorado United is a charitable and educational organization formed to organize, advance, and foster the sport of soccer for players under the age of 19. They are committed to developing players for life; which means teaching solid fundamentals on the pitch, and also helping their players to grow as people by learning teamwork, leadership, self-confidence, and good sportspersonship. Colorado United accomplishes this goal by finding the best coaches in the region to provide age-specific training, exemplify excellence, and inspire a love of that game that will last a lifetime.
Executive Director of Colorado United, Phil Nielsen said:
“We are so excited to join the Capelli Sport family. Right from the initial conversations with George Altirs and the Capelli Sport leadership, it was clear that we had found the right long-term strategic partner. We are convinced that Capelli Sport will help us grow and develop Colorado United as well as provide our players with opportunities they never had before—with quality, customer service, and a price point that our parents will really appreciate.”
President and CEO of Capelli Sport, George Altirs said:
“This partnership is truly a special one, not only for the fact that Colorado United is a highly respected club that we are honored to work with, but more importantly because of our mutual purpose to support youth soccer as a driving force to do good in this country and around the world. We cannot wait to pursue our common objectives with Phil Nielsen and his colleagues as we begin this exciting and positive relationship together.”
