International sportswear brand, Capelli Sport has announced a four-year partnership with the Guyana Football Federation (GFF). Per the terms of the agreement, Capelli Sport, as of August 2019, will be the official uniform, apparel and equipment provider for all teams under GFF, including the youth, senior, men’s and women’s national teams. In addition, the partnership will also include support for GFF traveling teams, full usage of Capelli Sport fields and training facilities, as well as a branded online GFF fan shop.
Capelli Sport first began a partnership with GFF in May 2019, which named Capelli Sport as the official uniform provider for Guyana’s first ever appearance at the CONCACAF Gold Cup. During the tournament, Guyana faced off against the United States, Panama and Trinidad & Tobago, also outfitted by Capelli Sport. “The Capelli kit partnership contract is groundbreaking for Guyana Football,” said GFF President, Wayne Forde. “The value this deal will deliver over the next four years will vastly impact the development of Football across Guyana.”
