Capelli Sport to Become the Official Apparel and Equipment Supplier for International Federation of Cerebral Palsy Football

Capelli Sport is proud to announce a new multi-year partnership with the International Federation of Cerebral Palsy Football (IFCPF). This agreement will see Capelli Sport becoming the official and exclusive uniform and equipment supplier for the world governing body of CP Football. The initial deal will last for three years starting in 2024, highlighted by the 2024 IFCPF World Cup in Salou, Spain this November.

The International Federation of Cerebral Palsy Football was founded in 2015 and is the world governing body for cerebral palsy football, headquartered in the Netherlands. Cerebral Palsy Football (CP Football) is for athletes with cerebral palsy, or an acquired brain injury, and is a team sport played as a recreational activity, or competitively at club, national, regional and international level. The IFCPF organizes tournaments for the sport and is a recognized international federation by the International Paralympic Committee. Currently, the IFCPF has 94 groups and countries around the world who compete globally, at the World CP Football Championships and IFCPF World Cup, and regionally, including the Pan American, Asian, African and European CP Football Championships.

CEO of IFCPF, Ashley Hammond said:

“Announcing our partnership with a world class company like Capelli Sport at this time is so fitting, as we are about to host our men's and women's world cups later this year. Watching Capelli Sport become a world leader in the apparel and sports equipment market and being able to bring them to our sport and family is incredibly exciting and ground breaking for us. The Capelli Sport brand will now adorn some of the world’s finest disability athletes across the globe and we could not be prouder and more appreciative for the support of our organization and cerebral palsy football worldwide.”

President and CEO of Capelli Sport, George Altirs said:

“We are extremely proud to be able to partner with such an important organization as the IFCPF. Capelli Sport believes in sports for all and the IFCPF aligns with our goals and mission to grow the game of soccer. Ashley and the IFCPF team have been so crucial in the process of this partnership and we cannot wait to see some of the best disability athletes in the world compete in our Capelli Sport gear at the 2024 IFCPF World Cup in November and beyond.”
