Pennsylvania Classics (PA Classics), the elite boys’ and girls‘ U.S. Soccer Development Academy (DA) member club located in eastern Pennsylvania, and Capelli Sport, the international sportswear and team wear brand, have announced a long-term partnership between the organizations.
Per the terms of the agreement, Capelli Sport will become the official uniform, training gear and apparel supplier for the PA Classics athletes, families, coaches and staff, starting with the 2019-2020 season.
PA Classics has set the standard for premier, travel soccer in Lancaster County, PA since 2004, assisting with the placement of more than 550 student-athletes into various collegiate programs across the country. Providing development opportunities for U9-U19 for more than 1,000 male and female athletes annually, PA Classics also contains a rich history of alumni succeeding on the professional level. Today, with anywhere from 2-4 teams per age group, PA Classics has created a platform for players of all levels to train with its professional coaching staff in a full-time, soccer environment.
"We are excited to take this next step in our club’s development with the Capelli Sport partnership,” PA Classics’ Director of Coaching and Academy Director Steven Klein said. “With the custom training gear, apparel and network capabilities, the goals we have set forth for our athletes and the program are noticeably supported. Capelli Sport was founded in 2011 by President George Altirs, with the mission to provide quality, functionality and design for high-level performance on the field. In eight years of operation, Capelli Sport has become the partner of, and the official outfitter for, a number of internationally recognized sporting organizations, professional clubs and international teams.
