Capelli Sport is excited to announce its latest partnership with Soccer Without Borders (SWB), the well-established nonprofit international soccer association that works to bring soccer programs to youth all around the world.
Since 2006, Soccer Without Borders has been able to build a widely respected and dedicated soccer program, working with youth from more than 65 nations. In its 12 years of existence, the organization has worked toward its vision of a more inclusive world, where all youth have the opportunity to reach their inherent potential.
One of the reasons SWB chooses soccer is because it is one of the world’s universal languages. The mission of these programs is to “use soccer as a vehicle for positive change, providing under-served youth with a toolkit to overcome obstacles to growth, inclusion and personal success.”
“We are thrilled to team up with Capelli Sport as our first-ever official uniform provider to strengthen the identity and cohesion of our teams across the United States,” said Mary Connor, Co-Founder and Executive Director of Soccer Without Borders. “When it comes to using soccer as a vehicle for positive change, game play is an essential part of our strategy. With this support from Capelli Sport, we are able to not only provide this opportunity to our 60 U.S. teams, but also spread awareness about our mission in leagues, tournaments, and game days across the country.”
Capelli Sport is looking forward to partnering alongside an organization with a mission to help youth soccer players around the world. “We are excited to partner with an impactful soccer program that promotes such positive change for kids within in the sport and culturally,” said Capelli Sport President George Altirs. The partnership will include the donation of uniforms from Capelli Sport to Soccer Without Borders, plus additional support to their programs. Capelli Sport will also work with SWB in marketing efforts and program development. In eight years of operation, Capelli Sport has become the partner of, and the official outfitter for, a number of internationally recognized sporting organizations, professional clubs and international teams.
